USD SYSTEM INTERNATIONAL EDITIONS CONSORTIUM
Institutional Presentation

OUR MISSION

The USD System International Editions Consortium is a collective of companies, publishers and specialists committed to the promotion and enhancement of intellectual property.

Its mission is to contribute to the strengthening of the rights of creators, inventors and entrepreneurs, so as to foster the emergence, preservation and transmission of their creative genius.

The Consortium upholds a fundamental conviction:

Every idea, every creation and every invention constitutes a work of the mind that deserves to be recognized, preserved, valued and transmitted as a lasting heritage.

OUR PURPOSE

The mission of the USD System International Editions Consortium is to create an international environment enabling creators to better identify, document, preserve and enhance their intellectual assets.

The Consortium accompanies authors, inventors and entrepreneurs in a process spanning from the emergence of the idea through to its development and transmission to future generations.

This process is designed to enable creators to build a structured record of their work, preserve the confidentiality of sensitive information, and develop a value-building strategy tailored to their project.

The Consortium thus aims to contribute to the emergence of intellectual property that is more accessible, more structured and more democratic.

OUR VISION

USD System carries an international vision in which creativity becomes a genuine driver of human, cultural and economic development.

We seek to help build an ecosystem where creators can have their contribution recognized, preserve their secrets, develop their projects and prepare for their transmission.

Our ambition is to foster equitable economic growth grounded in creativity, innovation, knowledge and the recognition of works of the mind.

With this in mind, the Consortium is open to collaboration with NGOs, federations, institutions, professional networks and economic actors across different countries to support the development of structures and initiatives dedicated to intellectual property.

USD — UNIVERSAL SUSTAINABLE DESIGN

USD — Universal Sustainable Design reflects the commitment to connect every creative act to its true author — from the birth of an idea through to its documentation, development and transmission.

The concept rests on an integrated approach to creation: recognizing the author, preserving the integrity of their work, protecting the confidentiality of sensitive information, and supporting the construction of a sustainable economic strategy.

USD System thus places the creator at the heart of the intellectual property value-building process.

THE THREE PILLARS OF THE CONSORTIUM

The Consortium's organization rests on three complementary pillars:

1.

COMMERCE

The commercial pillar is dedicated to developing the Consortium’s international network. It relies in particular on the development of partnerships and the commercialization of territorial, continental and national licenses, enabling the progressive build-up of a network of specialized publishers and partners. This network’s objective is to bring creators closer to the markets and resources needed to enhance the value of their intellectual assets.

2.

PRODUCTION

The Production Company oversees the operational execution of orders from the publisher network. It handles the preparation, assembly, production and delivery of works intended for creators and their partners. It thus constitutes the operational link between editorial design and the delivery of the final product.

3.

THE FOUNDATION

The Foundation constitutes the ethical and deontological pillar of the Consortium. Its mission is to promote the principles of confidentiality, integrity, respect for authorship and ethical conduct that must accompany the management of creative works and innovative projects. It works in particular alongside the World Inventors Club, a non-profit association bringing together creators, inventors and entrepreneurs from around the world around shared values: confidentiality, mutual respect, solidarity and ethical commitment.

THE INTELLECTUAL PASSPORT CB — IPCB

A documentary heritage dedicated to the creator

The Consortium’s flagship product is the Intellectual Passport CB (IPCB).

The IPCB is designed as a collection of volumes intended to document a creation or invention from the initial creative idea through to its commercialization. The IPCB is not published, in order to preserve the confidentiality of certain information it contains. Its distribution could make sensitive data accessible that must be safeguarded.

It enables the creator to build a structured record of their creative journey and their work, with the aim of supporting the recognition of their authorship and preserving the memory of their creation.

Documenting today what may be recognized and transmitted tomorrow.

OUR COMMITMENT

The USD System International Editions Consortium seeks to contribute to the evolution of the creator’s place within the knowledge economy.

Our commitment rests on a simple idea:

A creation is not merely an idea: it constitutes a heritage, a creative identity and a potential for transmission.
